Join Tocco Chiropractic for a screening of the award winning documentary of Forks Over Knives!

Presented by Heal Yourself Institute and sponsored in part by Tocco Chiropractic, join us for a screening of an inspiring documentary that could quite literally, save your life.

Forks Over Knives is a film that powerfully chronicles the journeys of Dr. T. Colin Campbell, a nutritional scientist from Cornell University, and Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn, Jr., a former top surgeon at the world renowned Cleveland Clinic.  Inspired by remarkable discoveries in their young careers, these men conducted several groundbreaking studies and their separate research led them to the same profound conclusion: Degenerative diseases such as heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and even several forms of cancer, could almost always be prevented, and in many cases, reversed by eating a whole-food, plant-based diet.

The event features a vegan food tasting in the Main Art Theatre lobby before the show and following the show, a panel of plant-based diet experts to answer questions. The panel includes: Joel K. Kahn MD, a vegan advocate certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology; George Vutetakis, world-renowned vegan chef and cookbook author; Andrea McNinch, nationally acclaimed raw chef and nutritionist.

That’s awesome! I’ve been looking into the benefits of alternative treatments. I like the idea of trying to minimize the number of chemicals I put into my body. I also like the fact that it is generally more affordable.
