Digital Motion X-Ray Study Commonly Unlocks Mystery of Pain for Michigan Residents

The Digital Motion X-Ray of Michigan and Tocco Chiropractic have partnered together to serve Michigan residents in pain after auto-accidents, personal injuries, or sports-related injuries.  Thousands suffer from unknown causes of pain that put the body under extreme, undue stress that take away from quality of life and the leave the patient in a state of unknowing, confusion, and frustration.

For the last three years, Dr. Sam Tocco of Clawson, Michigan has brought the latest, breakthrough imaging technology to Southeast Michigan to help find underlying injury, which can not only prove and document many commonly over-looked injuries, but with appropriate applied care can help the patient achieve wellness, mobility and to have quicker recovery and long-term resolutive care.

Since it’s conception, conventional X-ray technology is a well-known, trusted standard for medical diagnosis of an injury.  Digitizing the patient in real-time motion, this motion x-ray surpasses this innovation with its unique and precise view of the joints, neck, and spine.   The DMX is able to find injuries that are evident only when you move. If your pain increases with movement, logic tells you that your injuries should be looked at while moving.  Most importantly, this technology allows a picture-in-picture image in the window of the x-ray where you can see a video of the actual patient externally and internally simultaneously while the individual is moving.

You may want to consider a DMX study if….
1. You have been in a car accident, even a low impact one.
Most of the studies done are on the neck checking for whiplash injuries. The Digital Motion X-Ray can scan your neck to determine if you have, in fact, sustained some degree of ligament damage which shows proof to the doctor, insurance company and attorney that you have indeed injured yourself. The DMX provides concrete proof of an injury, which cannot be disputed, and the injury is self-evident.
2. You are suffering from sports related injuries.
The Digital Motion X-Ray can scan all body parts in motion. A typical examination is three minutes long.
3. You are taking medications to suppress pain.
If you have been taking pain medication to suppress pain, but still have that painful injury, you may not have found the cause of your problem.  There are other types of treatments that naturally work with the healing capacity of the body, and do not cause any unnecessary side-effects.
4. Daily activities and basic living aggravate an injured area.
Daily activity injuries, even if they seem minor, are important to get checked out so you can prevent degeneration or further injury in the future.
5. You have been injured on the job.
We can help support and document injuries you have sustained on the job. This helps you when trying to prove your claim but it will also help the treating physician to see your injuries more clearly and hopefully treat you more efficiently. 6. You suspect that the underlying cause of the pain has gone undiagnosed or misdiagnosed.
With Digital Motion X-ray the doctor can actually see and get inside by seeing how this person expresses movement in that particular area.  This new technology has changed the way doctors detect injuries. Most injuries go undetected because they are not in motion. Actually, the patient is told to “hold their breath” or stay still.
Signs and symptoms of an injury

– Neck or back pain
– Shoulder pain
– Joint pain
– Tingling- Nausea and headaches
– Nausea and headaches
– Dizziness
– TMJ Pain
– Limited or abnormal motion in your body, or irregular pain patterns

Should you ask your attorney or doctor to order a DMX exam for you?

Ask yourself three critical questions…
• Do I have pain in one or more of my joints that increases with motion or daily activities?
• Did I injure myself with a sudden jolt or sharp movement to one or more of my joints, as a whiplash injury, slip and fall or blow from a sports related activity?
• Do I have joint pain, the cause of which has not been determined by conventional x-ray, MRI or other diagnostic tests?
If you have answered yes to any of the above, you should consider a DMX examination.
“Stretched and torn ligaments can result in a condition called “kinesiopathology” or abnormal motion of the bones that make up the joint. This abnormal motion results in ongoing rubbing and grinding of the bone surfaces during motion, preventing normal healing, and leading to premature onset of degenerative joint disease, a wear and tear type of arthritis. Only DMX can fully evaluate internal joint motion, and properly screen for kinesiopathology.”

Joint problems can be quite debilitating and could potentially lead to other health issues as it would affect a persons functional ability. Starting treatment early would help minimise damage to joints and allow those affected a better quality of life.
